Details of the Tournament
Date: Oct 20th, Nov 17th, Dec 15th and Jan 12(Sunday)
Tournaments on Nov 17th is OCC &CYCC Double Qualifier grouped by age
Time: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Location: Maverick Learning Center @ 1020 Denison St. Suite 205, Markham, ON L3R 3W5
Target: Students Grade K to 12 (Age 4-20) who love playing chess
If you do not have a CFC ID, you can register here. For players under 20 years old, NO annual membership fee is required. If you do not have a CMA ID, just fill in N/A. An ID will be assigned onsite.
Schedule: 5 Rounds in total | 1st round starting at 1:30 PM | Refreshments are provided
Sections: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 (Sep 22nd & Nov 17th)
U900, U1200, U1600, Open (Oct 20th, Dec 15th, Jan 12th)
Rating: The tournament will be rated by CFC & CMA / CFC Rated Rapid
Time Control: Game in 25 minutes plus 5 seconds delay per move (Bronstein)
Entry Fee: $45 for 1, $85 for 2, $120 for 3, $150 for 4 and $170 for all 5 tournaments. All Maverick Chess Club members have a 10% discount.
All players must complete the online Registration Form with full payment. No on-site registration.
